If you have an Android Phone or Android Tablet you can tape yourself Snoring and also if you Stopping Breathing.
Go into your apps store and look for Snore Clock.
It records snoring and also if you stopping breathing.
My mate let me hear his recording (done on a Tablet) over the phone and it was as clear as day.
Snores were clear and so was him stopping breathing.
You could hear him stopping breathing and then a clearing of the throat as he started to breath again with a splutter.
Any Gp faced with such a recording could not ignore it and if he/she is worth their pay would refer you for a sleep test.
I was quite impressed with it.
He also tells me there is an app that explains about snoring and Sleep Apnoea as well. I have not seen it, but I am told if you search under snoring it should come up.
Worked for him, so there is no reason why it should not work for anyone else.
