Is everyone else suffering from this heatwave, last night was murder trying to sleep. Thank god for my trusty fan, I think I would be in serious trouble without it. Was wondering if its possible to put ice in my humidifier or freeze it in the freezer, would be a risk of cracking though. Going to try ice slush in it tonight and hope that a gentle melting would cool me down. Anyone else got any tips they've tried?

A couple of times my cpap has been nicked by my wife as a blower while I read. Was lucky to get it back, had to threaten to snore really loudly, annoy the neighbours and let her explain why we have a pet T Rex with bronchial problems.
Slightly more usefully, those cool packs that you get in picnic carriers and a fan work well for a couple of hours. Also a damp towel will cool by evaporating slowly as long as you can stand the first shock.

I have not suffered too much in the UK, but had a torrid time last year and this year on holiday in France - neither place had air conditioning, and the outside temperature at 9.00PM was still around 30C
A couple of times I had to take cold showers at 2.00AM just to cool down.
We keep both windows open at night.
