For long enough, I had been sleeping very adequately with my NHS CPAP set at 17 cm H2O constant, no relief, just ramp. A week ago I started waking twice each night and taking eight hours to get seven hours sleep.
Last night, I used my APAP with 'A'-Flex, min 10, max 18 and woke twice, once with APAP gale. One night stats confirm 90% pressure of 16 (so CPAP 17 should catch most events) with a 3 A and 4 H to give 7 AHI (which confirms my experience of 'not bad but could be much better' sleep). Zero leakage. 11 VSI. Oximeter on its way from Beijing.
Is this punishment for being a bah humbugger or am I missing something, subtle or obvious?
On the other hand, I'd quite forgotten what a lovely ride it is with APAP and Pur-Sleep wafting rather than being force fed.
If nothing else appears, I'll try a Les Waller and change masks as well as machine, but I do love my Quattro.
