Does anyone remove their mask without remembering it?

Hi Nicktheman, I still occasionally take the mask off without knowing in the night. I think it's just one of those things for me.

Hi Cwmfelin. Last night the mask stayed on but I must have the humidifier too high. Set at five, because the tube got water in it, presumably condensation, and started gurgling and when I took the mask off and released the pressure it blew cold water in my face!!!!
Here's hoping I have a smooth night tonight lol!!

Never woken up without the mask on, but having a new, full face mask, I feel like throwing it across the room sometimes! My main problem is waking up with the hose wrapped round my neck (I move a lot in my sleep).

Just in the past couple of nights, I've woken up without my mask on. The CPAP machine seems to be off.

Does this happen to anyone else and have you found a way to wake you up to put the mask back on?

I have a Philips System One REMstar Auto CPAP System.

I, too, have a Philips (Respironics) CPAP and mask and I often wake up with the mask off. I find I do it more when I have had a drink or two. Maybe that's the same for you?
