Opinions

Everyone has one! And "ONE" isn't right for everyone. TF makes a lot of sense most of the time--that's why he is popular on this forum. But Graham--I hate to see you let anyone push you off the forum. Your posts are mostly correct too. Although I haven't ever seen any candy bars like the ones you posted. With me and the way I feel about CHOCOLATE --I wouldn't care at all what the wrapper said. See you on the Hoseheads. Not anymore, after that profanity. You earned a 2 month ban. Rare here, but warranted. You're only the second or third person in a number of years.

Indeed, as Tigers Fan explained well, it's a combination of who posts and what this person posts. Unbeknown to you, because we efficiently remove it all, this forum gets a deluge of spam attempts daily. They fail 99% of the time, which helps keeps this forum easy to read. It does mean that at times the spam scoring algorithm and rules consider real posts to be on the spammy side, so they get vetted manually which generally is a 24 hour affair, unless we're all away on some conference.

Naturally, we also have to take care when people post links to questionable material, like US sites posting clinicians manuals or selling non-CE goods to Europe. It's just not worth us risking our good reputation, or your health. So PMs are always best, but we do allow publicly what generally is already public. We may at times move that to the General Chat area, so only logged in users can see it.

Anyway, the sort of profanity Sparticus posted is unwarranted. It's fine if you hate somebody else here, we're not meant to all be friends. But you can leave your strong opinions to yourselves and attempt to get along. Posting such images or wishing such things to fellow members is not something we tolerate.

So, drama over... Let me go through some posts here to catch up, we've had plenty going on ourselves we'd like to tell you about.
