    Sleep Apnea Suppresses Testosterone Production

Both LH and testosterone levels are reduced by sleep apnea sufferers. The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism published a report showing that men with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) reported lower morning serum testosterone levels and decreased libido.

Poor quality sleep also makes it more difficult to build muscle tissues. So if you are a man suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) you may be surprised to know that your lack of quality sleep is severely jeopardizing your ability to build muscle after hitting the gym.

If you’re looking for an effective way to treat Sleep Apnea and/or to improve the quality of your sleep by cutting out snoring, take a look at this sleep apnea breakthrough.

What’s even more concerning is that a large percentage of sleep apnea sufferers don’t even know they have sleep apnea. If you aren’t getting a quality sleep each night, see this article for a listing of sleep apnea symptoms.

    Sleep Apnea Treatment

utmx_section("Headline")Do You Suffer From Sleep Apnea?

Sleep Apnea is a very common sleeping disorder which can be dangerous if left untreated. Until now, there haven’t been many treatment options for sleep apnea besides CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machines which can be cumbersome and uncomfortable to sleep with, as well as very expensive.

CPAP machines are supposed to work by sending a flow of pressurized air into the throat of the patient to help keep their airway open during sleep. Although these machines have provided relief for some patients, they are far from being consider a “solution”.

Most people who have tried CPAP machines know just how clunky and expensive they can be. If you can’t afford an expensive model, you’re stuck with a machine that’s loud and uncomfortable and halfway through the night you end up ripping the mask off your face anyway. Also, if you’re a side sleeper the CPAP masks can be virtually impossible to sleep with comfortably. The machines are difficult to travel with, and if they get damaged during travel you can spend your vacation without your CPAP machine which leads to loud snoring and sleep apnea problems.

Also as most spouses of sleep apnea sufferers can attest to, the machines can be more annoying and loud than snoring.

Five years ago, Stephen Matthews, a former sleep apnea sufferer who almost died from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) invented a revolutionary breakthrough invention he calls “My Snoring Solution“. Stephen first used his invention to cure his own sleep apnea, before realizing that millions of other sleep apnea sufferers around the world were having the exact same problems he was.

Stephen’s invention is a simple, yet extremely effective jaw supporter device which keeps the jaw supported during sleep, decreasing the chances of sleep apnea episodes during sleep.

Unlike CPAP machines, the jaw supporter is very comfortable and easy to use. It helps to maintain proper jaw positioning during your sleep to help you get a good nights sleep each and every night.

Stephen’s invention was recently featured on a TV medical show which talked about the risks and disadvantages of using CPAP machines or the complications associated with surgical procedures.

The jaw supporter works by keeping the lower jaw in an upward / forward position, increasing the open space in the airway, reducing air velocity and soft tissue vibration. This action not only reduces snoring but also reduces or eliminates sleep apnea.

A jaw supporter is based on the same principle as CPR. The airway must be open to allow air to pass through the throat. A constricted or collapsed airway causes snoring and/or sleep apnea. A jaw supporter can hold the lower jaw in position so that it does not fall backwards/down during the night and cause the airway to collapse. Maintaining a clear airway improves breathing and reduces snoring.

Consumers Choice of Comfort – Voted the World’s Most Comfortable and Effective Anti-Sleep Apnea and Anti-Snoring Product!

The snoring mask fits comforably over your head to support the jaw while you are sleeping, regardless whether you are a back sleepier, side sleeper or belly sleeper. The mask works at retraining the jaw muscles to keep the lower jaw in the upward / forward position for proper breathing during sleep. The slim fitted mask is what consumers have been raving about, due to it’s amazing comfort. The mask is so comfortable, most patients hardly notice they are wearing it. In fact, in a recent survey the mask was voted the world’s most comfortable and effective anti-sleep apnea and anti snoring product on the market.

    "NOW ITS MY TURN"

    "BULLSHIT" UTTER NONESENSE AND BULLSHIT!!!!

I must apologise for my language but things like this annoy me very much and its clinicly proven to work AARRRRGGGGGGGGGG

If you watch the video its a women with a strap-on, sorry I should re-phraze that. Its a women with a strap round her head so her mouth doesnt open. If these things really worked then dont you think the NHS would be the first to dish them out instead of a machine that costs close to a grand with the masks and everything else.

I like to know what INTUS really think of them???

I agree and it gives joe public the wrong information, the amount of people Ive had say to me 'dont worry they can cure that with an operation' arghhh. First thing prof Dodds said to me was 'youve got OSA bad and there is no cure' but the media never says that.

On what evidence is it suggested that libido is reduced by CPAP? It has had quite the opposite effect on me and pre CPAP I didn't believe it was possible to get any higher that I already was. An eminent OSA specialist even suggested in response to my asking about the hike in libido at a SATAday conference that they were thinking of featuring it as part of the introductory blurb to encourage compliance. His reply may have been tongue in cheek though.

            A Strap ON?

This simply wouldn't work for me to be sure! I have Central Sleep Apnea and that means I have NO obstructions at all. My brain just forgets to breathe now and then. The constant air pressure of my CPAP assures me that I will get air--until my brain says "Oh SHIT--Breathe!" I have gone from 79 AHI without the CPAP-- to 1.8 with it. And the ones I have now only last seconds. They should be charged with medical fraud. Berneta

              Education

people need to be educated that closing ones mouth is not a cure for OSA and these adverts could kill someone. OSA should be treated by professional people and not these idiots who have so-called bright ideas.

              Surely this statement is illegal
