Hello countydown mum,I may be wrong but once your cpap/apap therapy starts and is optimised ,and you have got used to it !(could take 1 night or 1 month )everyone is different !no doubt you may have some problems when you first start ,but don't give up!! It DOES get easier plus you will/should start to feel the benifits.You will probably loose weight as well 'if you have osa,you tend to eat more to stay awake!(your body telling you to refuel,when you don't really need to because your tired/sleepy because of your osa. Hope this helps a little. good luck

Since NICE guidelines came out this shouldn't be happening and anyone in this situation should be contacting their local MP. Will definitely sign petition! As people will see from my other posts I'm a big supporter of the NHS but the postcode lottery does my head in!
