An ad for Astronauts sleeping pills - now available for use by UK civilians!!

    Can you resist???

Look at http://remtyme.com/how-does-it-work.html or Google REMtyme.

If you can't resist call 0800 036 0345 and get your pot of pills for free!

Clearly American, selling out of Switzerland.

All natural - non-addictive. Ah! at last - a cost - oh! an absolute snip at £32.50 for - hmmmm - I think 30. But you fall asleep within 5 to 10 minutes and stay asleep for 8 hours!!

Anyway, the first pot is a freebie! (But they have your contact retails! How easy is it to get rid of them later???)

    Ingredients in two tablets

    L-theanine ------------------------------------ 200 mg
    Melatonin -------------------------------------- 2 mg
    Magnesium (oxide) -------------------------- 250 mg
    Chamomile extract (2% flavonoids) ------ 200 mg
    Passionflower (4% vitexin) ----------------- 150 mg
    Lemon balm ---------------------------------- 100 mg
    Hops ------------------------------------------- 60 mg
That's a lot of L-theanine, and quite a good chunk of melatonin...

Would probably work - small dose melatonin works wonders for me - don't think I'll try any of these in a hurry though.

      Sleep Aid

I don't think I would get the sleep aid either--I found the Name of the Dr on the net--as a Sports Dr. Nothing about him and this sleep aid- and could not find a connection to the Space Program for him. Its all a bit alarming. Also haven't heard about it in the States-- I think its all fabricated to sell someone's pills. It may also be that the sleeping medication would not be advisable to be taken by those with Sleep Apnea. x Berneta

        REMTymee sleep aid

A little more research has produced the fact that Swiss Labs-- that make this sleep aid are not certified by the American FDA, and the site has a disclaimer regarding their products. All that glitters is not gold. xx Berneta

Well of course they are not registered with the FDA! Who would be unless you want to sell in the US?

Anyway - gave them a ring and it's not a 'free sample', it's a 'risk free sample'. Which is confuse-ese for 'it's not a free sample at all'. You have to pay for it and then if you don't like it or it doesn't work for you, you send the remaining tablets back for a full refund.

There are some American health forums where they talk mainly about money disappearing from bank accounts. Seems REMtyme talk them into buying a few months supply - they tried to me - on the basis of a 'reduced unit price' (a tablet/pill/capsule) and a direct debit for on-going supplies. At this point, remember, you haven't seen a single pill let alone tried them for effectiveness.

Oh yes! £38.50 inc p&p for your 'risk free sample'!

            A Bitter Pil to Swallow

Sorry to say but a pil thats risk free, sorry but I dont agree, my friend started messing around with pills of the net, he ended up dancing on the canteen tables out of his face and nearly got the sack. How do you know what they are putting into this rubbish. Try excersise if your not feeling tired in an evening or maybe a hot bath or shower and if the normal things dont work then go see your doctor for some proper advise

You guys are so right. It is produced in America without the FDA seal, and is considered without proven benefit-- and the method of selling it is considered a SCAM here. As TF said you get a bottle followed by several more which are costly-- nothing is FREE--and eventually they say you need another type of pill to take with it if it doesn't work for you, And they just keep sending it to you. and there are no refunds since they say you made a contract for the first bottle. There are several Swiss Labs all over America (don't know if they have any Swiss Labs in Switzerland at all-- turning out all Kinds of pills--some good and have the FDA seal. Others are not good, and their disclaimer says see your DR if you have a condition--as this is not a medicine just a supplement. As far as I know it is sold here only one bottle a time in herbal stores--if at all. Thanks TF for alerting everyone to this SCAM. XBerneta

So it basically relaxes with the L-Theanine and then regulates the sleep-wake patterns with melatonin.

In other words, some meditation and a Litebook will achieve the same

No, but it's been corrected now. I do have an iPhone and the spelling correction/suggestion can indeed be frustrating!

For a collection of the best (often rude) autocorrects, I find this site hilarious!

Haha well that fixed my Blue Monday. Maybe not so much with the iPhone but "CPAP" does get its fair share of questionable corrections.

                          The Plot Thickens!

So by Wednesday, REMtyme call me back - a young, female voice this time.

I have been specially selected with 99 other people who refused the Saturday deal - we now get a free sample instead of the risk free sample. They pay for the capsules, I pay £2.99 postage - which seems not unreasonable. She assured me that was the deal, no strings. Oh yes! the come on is that the capsules are now £23.70 instead of £38 whatever (and cheaper by the dozen, of course).

No sooner had I hung-up than I thought, "You've been scammed." She called me, claimed to be a certain person, I gave her my credit card details - never do that!! Suspended the card and then called REMtyme and they have the order on file, so all is well - but it seems I have entered into a subscription! I have to cancel the subscription otherwise they send two months supply and debit my card!

This is one slick sales outfit! and they lie! I wonder if the capsules are any good?

                            Scammed

Hi TF--boy she must have had one SWEET sugar wouldn't melt in my mouth voice! I can't believe you got scammed, and gave her your credit card #. You knew it was a SCAM! Did you have a bad night-- and wake up thinking in a fog this morning? I am so glad you cut the credit card off--but you may still continue to get the pills and end up having to get a lawyer to get out of their contract. Since they are not FDA approved--please don't take any of them. Who knows what is in them. Without the FDA seal they can put anything in them-- or not--they can just be sugar pills. The factory isn't regulated. Hopefully there isn't anything harmful in them--as I am sure a lot of other people buy them. Maybe you should call your lawyer and ask him about it. Here in the states we usually have to sign a contract to make it legal---but giving a card number is considered the same thing. We get those kind of advertisements in the mail all the time---and a lot of phone calls for scams. We have a telephone answering machine-- and don't even answer a call unless we know who it is, They can be such a pain in the tush! Beware of those sweet voices that sound so sincere and intelligent. I can't believe you've been had! Anyway take care, x Berneta

                              Crazy

I cant quite believe that you of all people would give your card details out to just anyone, if I was you I would check your account straight away, why well heres a little story.

My friend at work was into the fitness pills and decided to order some, he contacted a company that sold them all seemed above board. Not sure exactly how many or what he ordered but it wasnt what he got. I think he spent about £30. about 10 minutes later he decided that it wasnt a good idea and like you had second thoughts and canceld. Within 30 seconds of them receiving his card details his account was emptied (£1000) and what he actually ended up with was nothing accept one hell of an headache.

NEVER EVER EVER Give your details out to anyone, I could show you websites on the net that deal in stolen details, credit card numbers etc. I have been on the net since the start and I still wont give my details out. Who's a silly billy
