    If this is the danger mark for your blood Oxygen levels, do many people go through this mark when having apneas or hypopneas. I ask this because again the other night I left my mask off and still didnt drop below the line. Apart from the odd artifact I dont think I have ever dropped below this mark. Is this the norm or do some drop below this.

    88 would have a nurse calling for assistance if you were in a hospital bed!

      Is that in a high pitched voice with urgent undertones

      But thats in hospital if we stopped breathing in hospital like we do at home, she be doing chest compressions just incase and incubate us (Ive watch casualty)
      So I take it you havent been that low on your oxi readings?

        I have recordings showing blips below 80 that coincide with pulse shooting up. Hard to say what the actual reading is. Lot better since been on an APAP with a Sleepweaver that's for sure.

          Drops in sat + blips in pulse are a potential sign of apnea, your O2 level drops so your body gives you a quick boost of adrenaline to wake you up and get you breathing!

          Yes, mine will drop below 88, but not now I have the CPAP running so well!
