    And the important one

Do you know what your 95% pressure is? This one is the clue about how effective your therapy is and how to fine tune your max pressure (particularly if you experience being woken by gales from your mask).

If like me you use APAP then you dont need to keep having your preasure checked and if you need more or less preasure then you dont have to go trudging off to the hospital to keep getting it changed. Surely if cpap user were all changed to apap, alot of appointments would be scrapped saving the NHS a small fortune. I know the machines will probably cost more but surely its a saving in the long run.

The NHS gave me an APAP, I guess I'm in a lucky postcode, but I still get regular hospital appointments.

Maybe the appointments will get less frequent once I get used to the machine...

Hurray, someone like me, Totally know where your comming from victor Since me getting my machine I had 12 appointments every 3 weeks I went and they told me stuff that went straight over my head. I then took a month of work which I should have done at the start (as stated in my other post) and I went from a reading of 43 episodes an hour to 1. At my last appointment they said well done big congrats come back in a year. I did it, I had conquered my machine. They will do the same to you when you have got your readings down. When you go next time, ask them what your readings are and what they are looking to get you down too. If you dont ask victor, you wont know whats going on mate.
