Alergic burn?

I have been given a Joyce (Gel?) mask to use and after 1 nights use the bridge of my nose has what looks like a chemical burn across it and the part around the sides of my mouth have a rash. Before I used the mask I washed it in a non perfumed solution which I use to clean my face etc so i know I don't react to it, the only way to alieviate the burning is to use a cream. Has anyone experienced this type of reaction to a mask before it is very painful to say the least and being as blind as a bat wearing my glasses is almost unbearable

what is the mask made of? i have a bad allergy to latex, so it could be an explanation. better to get gp to check you out, possibly get some treatment for rash etc and an opinion of causes. hope you get sorted soon.
