  • The gas problem

    Anyone know of any alternatives to Simeticone (the active ingredient in Windeze, Wind Settlers etc.). I find it has little or no effect for me.

        I heard that the best thing for wind is a kite.

            I vaguely remember a Dave Allen joke from years ago and he was on about carvings on grave stones.

            Where ever you may be
            let your wind go free
            and as you see
            it caused the death of me

            can anyone remember the rest of the rhyme?

                Where ever you me be,
                let your wind run free.

                  Gas

                  I heard that Ginger tea helps with gas problems and all stomach and intestinal problems. Exercise might get it moving too, so it doesn't build up so much. But if all else fails--let it go. There's more room out than in. xx Berneta

                    Letting it go...

                    ...if only it would!

                    I think Simeticone is an anti-foaming agent and works by getting little bubbles to join up into bigger ones which your body supposedly finds easier to expel.
