No such thing as a quick fix. It's potetnially a serious condition that requires more dedication than a quick fix alone.
See my post here: http://forums.cpap.co.uk/showpost.php?p=39&postcount=2 for more info.If you can read this...
...at least you seem to be getting enough sleep to stay awake and alert!

There are no quick fixes for snoring. First of all you need to undergo a sleep study which will probably diagnose your problem, it sounds an awful like like sleep apnea which is a very dangerous condition. There are also surgical options which are very effective against snoring, even a total cure. See your doctor for further advice.

The "Jackhammer" wasn't listed in the 5 options to the question Which type of snorer are you?
I agree with Springcity, get tested!

i would think you have sleep apnea as i do.this causes chronic snoring resulting in airway collapse causing you to wake up and feeling tired through out the day.this is a serious problem which leads to high blood presure and heart attack.see your doctor 4 a referal to the sleep clinic ,you may need cpap, which is a mask which blows air in your aiiways while u sleep it works a treat.i have one and it has changed my life.

There's no quick fix except surgery, and surgery is only the fix if the cause of your snoring is a structural problem in your nose or throat.
Some things will help (but probably take time to make a difference) ...
- If you're on the heavy side, lose weight.
- If you smoke, quit.
- If you drink, don't do it right before bedtime.
- Sleep on your side instead of your back
- Talk to your doc if it's a big problem or if none of the above apply (goes without saying)
