I am not sure how. But when i first used a CPAP machine i was given two REMstar gel full face masks, one because i felt claustrophobic so i was given a larger mask, i had no problems with pain or dry mouth.
Now i have my own machine the pressure was too much for the larger gel mask, so i was given to try a Resmed full face mask that fits so well, but in the morning i am so dry in the mouth, and my nose feels like its about to burst some mornings and it can feel painful.
I do have a drink at the side of my bed in the morning, i do gulp down a full sport type bottle quite fast. Does this mean the mask is not ok for me even thou i don't get no leaks and i sleep well, or do i just keep using it and maybe i get use to it. Just wondering if other people have had this problem when trying diffrent masks, and do you think its worth me telling the clinic now or when i next see them in Octorber. Just a bit confused on why its happen now when i have been useing full faced masks and no other kind of mask.
