Zzz parts
Hi James
I didn't e-mail you or the forum, but used the 'contact us' page at Somnofit. That may seem a strange way to go but Somnofit seemed as close to Intus as I could find.
Whilst on the subject of spare parts, how/where do I access Intus/EU-PAP.co.uk spare parts department. I see that I can buy new units but cannot see where the spares lists are, other than two items for masks.
The same lack of spares seems common to all UK sites, so where do we Brits go for bits and pieces?

Depends on what mask you have. But this is what I've found.
The big two. Resmed UK have spares for all their masks. They are excellent. Used them a few times and they usually deliver the next day. Respironics - www.cpap-europe.com carry many of their spares. I've not contacted Respironics UK. I assume they operate in a similar way to Resmed.
Teleflex Medical - UK Hybrid distributors. Carry spares. Used them and they were efficient.
Fisher & Paykel - Not bought from there but been in touch with the spares department in the UK and they carry all spares and equipment.
For the more obscure masks with no UK distributor cpap.com is probably the best way to go.
That's my experience so far.

I see, well that indeed isn't the most direct route (for Zzz-Mask questions, best use this enquiry form) so that may well be how it got stuck somewhere along the way. I'll check though to make sure. There's also our soon-to-be-relaunched main homepage with contact details here.Originally posted by Tigers Fan View PostHi James

The mask spares section does exist (see here) but is sparsely filled indeed. As there are so many parts for so many masks, we simply said there to users of those mask to contact us if they need any, after which they will be added.Originally posted by Tigers Fan View PostWhilst on the subject of spare parts, how/where do I access Intus/EU-PAP.co.uk spare parts department. No Zzz-Mask parts available yet so they won't appear there in a hurry.Need a spare part from a mask or manufacturer seen on this website? Not all available parts are listed here yet so please contact us with a detailed description of the required part for a quote and availability.
In general, if we sell the mask and the manufacturer has spares available, we can get them for you, even when they are not yet listed individually.

Water uphill
Thanks, sleepyblade.
I've asked them for an order form - see if it what I want. I'm still banging away at my expectation that a UK retailer - or branch of a US company - will have a parts list site as we can so easily find in US.
I'm also setting up a cheaper mailing route for parts from the US.

After another good sleep
Hi sleepyblade - please look at page 1 of CPAP Machines and 'Has anyone bought ResMed products on-line from the States' - essentially, you need a contact in the States to post onward to you at cheaper (slower) rates than the retailers use.
Hi James - currently I'm trying to source the body seal for an M series humidifier. I know where I can buy a whole chamber, I know where I can buy the air seals, I don't know where I can buy a body seal (between the chamber halves).
Generally, though, I'm seeking to find a spares supply route or routes so I can feel confident that I can maintain my CPAP equipment without having to miss a night's kip. This is a whole new area for me and I do not feel confident about spares availability. I admit I'm a bit driven after very many years of maintaining ships - where "just in time" finished when the ship sailed.

Success!
I can rest easy! Very helpful people at Respironics took a while but came up with the (hopefully) right part and my seal is on it's way to me.
All the other little bits you might need are available directly from them (0800 1300 840) and , they said, soon to be available from their website. They went a bit Vera Lynn-ish about when 'soon' might be!
Who was it put me on to them? Les? Jon? sleepyblade? I can't find the thread - but - Thank you!
