I have been using a Resmed N10 for at least two years when I had my phone appointment with my local sleep clinic they told me the N10 had been discontinued and they would send me an N20 as a replacement. I have tried to like the new mask but in my opinion it's terrible for me the cushion pinches my nose stopping me breathing and the headgear is very uncomfortable with little adjustment I actually think the headgear is a step backwards as the N10 headgear was very comfortable. Looks like I'll have to phone my sleep clinic and see what they suggest I should replace the N20 with.

I completely understand where you are coming from, as once you have found a mask that works for you, you do not want to change it.

Well they can't say I didn't try....after trying the f30i for several nights and lasting no more than an hour at each attempt, I have gone back to an N10 which I have made up with all the left over used parts I had. To me the f30i is a step backwards ,bulkier headgear and trying to get it to seal around the nose is very hard every time you move your head it leaks. My wife reckons the vent blowing in her back is like sleeping in a wind tunnel....looks like I'll have to look round for an alternative.Comment

This may sound like a silly question, but can I kindly ask how you breathe? If you breathe through your nose only, then you need a nasal mask. If you breathe through your nose and your mouth (ie if you snore) then you need a full face mask. The N10 is a nasal mask, and the F30i is a hybrid version of the full face mask.
If you could let me know which type of mask you need for how you breathe, then I would happily help you look for an alternative mask.

Hi Kelly....I have been using a nasal mask for the last two or three years, but I have a problem with my nose ....one nostril is narrower than the other so my sleep tech reccomended I tried a full face mask I did ask for the n30i but she said I would be better with the full face. I have tried the n20 as well but I find the cushion too snug affecting my breathing on the side with the problem the n10 was a perfect match for me....until they stopped it.Comment

Alternatively have you tried a standard full face mask that covers your nose and your mouth like an Oxygen mask?

The Simplus was the mask I have when first diagnosed I still have it ...I also tried the Eson , the problem with that was very snug cushion as well....I have a drawer full of masks that I have tried and none suited me better than the N10. Guess I'll just have to keep scouring the internet for spares for my N10.Comment

I have had googled Airfit N10 Nasal CPAP Mask and can see a few places where you can buy masks or parts. It is worth a look if you are happy with the N10 mask.
