Hi
I'm newly diagnosed but have decided on the Philips Respironics Dreamstation Auto with humidifier machine.
* I wondered what people's thoughts or suggestions are?
* The mask I've looked at is the Philips fitlift or (liftfit), which is a seal around the hair line basically.
I wondered if anyone had experience of that?
I was supposed to get my appnt on 5th May with respiratory nurse to get the machine but my sats are dropping below 50 which they are aware of as I've been diagnosed with stage 2 respiratory failure.
I've my results of 62 apnoeas an hour and I've also hypoventilation syndrome.
Can't believe i was doing 12 hour shifts up until 5 years ago.
Any suggestions welcome, but it's the mask that concerns me as I've tissue paper thin from 58 years of steroids most of my life and they used a bipap in hospital & bruised my face. (Only for 2 nights)
Their full face mask they tried small, medium and large and none fitted well so I'm looking for this full face covering mask I mentioned above.
Thank you
