Intus end of financial year giveaway

Afternoon everyone!

So we've had our annual spring clean for the new financial year, getting rid of old stock etc, and we have a few masks to give away.

They're perfectly good, but they're not saleable for various reasons. Samples of masks we decided against offering, stock of discontinued masks that have been superseded, the like.

While most we've given to charity, we've kept a few to one side for our forum members. They are all full-face masks in various sizes, so if you would like to have a free mask then please state:

1) Which mask you're currently using, and
2) Which size you usually have

And any appropriate Intus-praise which will have no bearing should we have to draw lots

If we have a mask that would be suitable for you then we'll send it to you, although if plenty "enter" then we'll pick at random.

Hi Tom I currently use The respironics Comfort Gel Blue Full face size Large.
I find the forum & site extremely useful for info & support especially when stating off with CPAP. Its a lonley place without support of others on the forum

Well I only usually use a full face during periods of nasal blockage /irritation so was leaving this thread to others.

Most of the time I use a Sleepweaver Advance, well two actually, that I rotate. My two full face masks, which I also rotate (and have been doing since catching a cold that keeps coming back since mid December) are the Fisher Pakel Flexifit and the ResMed Quattro FX, both in large. On the 1-100 scale of mask heaven the advance is in the 80s for me the others just below, I am still searching for the perfect fit I may never find.

What can one say about Intus? The people make Intus in my book, they are simply as friendly and helpful as can be. As for the forum, it ebbs and flows like all web forums, but I don't know where the newbies would be without it and there are always new things for old lags to learn.

em...i use anything.....at least twice (not proud)

Plug....Intus are great (and have replied in an amusing manner to unrequited sarcasm ... and occasionally thoroughly requited...fan me, fan me or blast me with my cpap on low temp)

I'm willing to try anything left that works with facial hair and promise to report on it.

forgot to mention current fave masks, sleepweaver advance and pilairo..............serious point neither of these are available from my hospital but they work great so if they were available for newbies there might be a better positive start. Please excuse the lousy grammar.

PS, re fan I lost my cpap for several hours when she who must be obeyed was roasting one night in milan when the air conditioning collapsed. Sacrificed 3 hours sleep for 8 hours sanity, once again cpap is such a great therapy !!

FULL face mask

I wouldn't mind trying something like the FitLife if you have something similar.
Currently use a Liberty Mirage most of the time and the occasional use of a Quattro if my nose is sore.

Full face? Currently have a Forma in Large, and a Quattro FX is Medium.

Hi Tom,

I realise I'm a wee bit late in responding to this thread, have all the masks been allocated yet?

I currently use a Quattro FX medium given to me on my first visit to the sleep centre. It would always be handy to have a spare mask as backup in case anything went wrong with my original one.

Intus end of financial year giveaway

Hello, I'm a newly diagnosed with chronic Sleep Apnea, and I am having great difficulties with the mask I have been given. Could you please see if there are any free ful masks available from old stock? I'm using a Philips Resperonics Amara: small size.
