Old for new, I dont think so, try new for old. After using my old mask for over 18months I phoned the clinic and they sent me a new one. What a wake up call that was, not only was the airflow much improved but it was like slapping a concrete block to my face. Maybe I should stick it in the tumble dryer for an hour to soften it up.
