Ok,,, very strange turn of events!

At present i am using the resmed s8 escape machine so i guess the software that u have mentioned will work for that.
Could you give me an idea of where to purchase and if I would need an appropriate card reader for this as well ???

Dang, i feel thick. I was just given the machine and told to come back if i had a problem (touch wood so far ok). I know how to change the final pressure on babygail (my travel machine) and thats it. I was never even told what the results of my initial tests were (apart from being shown a line and being told that was my oxygen level. I thought it didnt look too bad and was then told that i was awake at that point, page 2 it fell off a cliff and it was explained to me that my brain was suffocating and therefore tried to kick me awake, not scientific but i got the idea and a couple of weird dreams).
Do we need annual check ups, so should i report back?
The other thing i noticed was getting the machines disinfected with ozone, should that be done every so often. I do fit new filters but am suddenly getting horrible mental pics of something like a dalek lurking inside!!

Disinfecting with Ozone? you mean Bleach? pretty sure thats a bad idea.... just use maybe washing up liquid for the humidifier maybe(if you have 1).... and i use a gentle hand wash (carex or similer) for the mask and pipe,,, thats all it needs.... pretty sure bleach is a definate no no...

but washing through with ozone is a good idea if you are worried about lurkig beasties. I went nearly three years with just washing humidifier chamber, hose and mask, changing filters periodically whilst wondering about how to deep clean - no ill effects at all. Then I learned - here - of ozone cleaning and bought a 'machine' from Intus. Now I'm all safe and sound in the knowledge that my rig is clean and I wash my humidifier chamber, hose and mask, changing filters periodically - sure and certain in the knowledge that if a bug colonises my rig I have an infected rig. So ozone 'sterilization' becomes more frequent until finally I'm carried away screaming about bug infections.

OR

Keep your house clean and wash your rig - and you'll be right. I guess I'll add a periodic ozone cleansing just for peace of mind.

CPAP Guardian = ozone cleaner.

I use smoke to make mine fresh, although I do use steralizing fluids I cant resist burning insence close to my machine at night, always makes my mask smell nice lol

My humidifier water container cracked on monday. The new ones dont open at the bottom so i have to get baby sterilizer stuff to clean it out with. Dont mind doing it but going to have awkward explanations ready for the chemist next door. Maybe i can borrow a baby, just to cover myself.

But thats my usual daily uniform, i would need a disguise...Sheesh. !!
At least you didn't suggest a Big Mac and dark glasses, if for no other reason then dogs might eat the disguise and then where would i be ... well, i 'd be in the same place i was standing before but without the important part of the disguise, so to speak !!


Berneta, tried the present suggestion but once again , might have gone a bit far. Shouldnt have asked for gift wrapping and the card being made out to me.

On the + side, it left a nice smell in the humidifier , had a sudden urge to get my bum talced though. odd.
