I was reading Joe's blog regarding side sleeping and found the pillow there very intriguing. I did some Yahooing and Googling to see if there were more. Here I share my findings though right away I can say none of these are available in the UK
1. CPAP Multi-Mask Sleep Aid $59.99

This is the one Joe mentioned and has a cut-out from a regularly shaped pillow where the mask would normally sit so it doesn't interfere with how the CPAP mask is worn.
2. Double Edge PAPillow $69.00

This pillow is designed by CPAP users for CPAP users. They say: this unique and patented pillow features a quilted side panel that creates a distinct edge allowing the mask to extend beyond.
"Sleep on the edge" to reduce or eliminate the common compliance problem of mask leak and pressure point soreness. For side or stomach sleepers.
3. SleePAP Pillow $59.95

Like above, simiarly shaped and also patent pending (what can you possibly claim in a pillow design?). The shape accomodates where the mask would have touched a regular pillow so it doesn't push in your face or move.
4. The Positioner $$$?

Apparently not available yet and this is the funkiest contraption of them all. It's not so much the pillow being special, it has some straps which help you keep you on your side which is meant to prevent the airways from collapsing. Looks like voluntary strangling to me but who knows, it might work as they say it does.
From the Daily Mail article:
The straps are attached to the board in such a way that the user can lie down comfortably on their side, but not on their back.
In the Swedish trial, 61 per cent of patients experienced a drop in the number of apnoeas.
Rates of sleepiness fell by 20 per cent, but the device had a mixed effect on snoring, with some patients snoring more frequently.
The first one looks most comfy to me. I might try and get one. If I do I'll let you know how it is.
