Good Morning,
Whilst you wait for your sleep clinic to get back to you, I would suggest checking the following
1. Do you have the correct size mask for your size
2. Watch a fitting video on youtube for your mask to make sure you are putting it on and adjusting it correctly
3. If the pressure increases rapidly during the night then if you have a ramp button on you machine, press this. If not, turn the machine off, catch your breathe, adjust your mask to get a good seal. Turn the machine back on and settle back down to sleep.
It does take a little while to adjust to wearing and sleeping with a CPAP mask on.
If this issue persist, I would try an alternative mask or look at a CPAP Pillow with cut outs so when you roll over in you sleep your mask hangs over the gap, rather than knocking it on the pillow if you sleep on your side alot - https://www.cpap.co.uk/product/cpap-pillow-2-0-2/

Thanks for the advice - I'll investigate these suggestions. I'm not sure how to determine if the mask is the correct size as it was just given to me with no measuring.Originally posted by Kelly @ Intus View PostGood Morning,

Good Morning,
Thank you for your reply.
You can go on our website and find your mask - https://www.cpap.co.uk/cpap-products/cpap-masks/
On the mask product page, scroll down the page to just below the add to basket button and there should be a download tab. Click on the download tab and this will show you the sizing guide for your mask. Down load the sizing guide and print out at 100%. Follow the instructions on the guide to measure your face and this will tell you which size mask you need for your face. If you cannot find your mask on our website, then please let me know.

I printed off the size proforma and according to that I need a L size but have a M size from the NHS so that may be a problem. I will check when I go to visit them soon.Originally posted by Kelly @ Intus View PostGood Morning,

I am still trying to get support from the NHS but the valve leaks at the joint & I am getting lots of noise which wakes me up plus AHI is climbing again. I need to see someone but went to a 'walk-in' clinic yesterday that started an hour late & I would have had to wait for 3 hours but had to leave for another appointment elsewhere. Not a word of apology. The only option I understand is to keep trying.Originally posted by Kelly @ Intus View PostGood Afternoon,
Excellent news. I am glad your AHI score is better with the new pillow. It does take time to adjust to using new CPAP equipment so do not be put off with the 3am hissing noises. It will get better.

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for your post.
Can I suggest you maybe look at another mask, whether from the NHS or buying one?
We have risk free masks that you can buy, try for 30 days and if unsuitable then you can return the mask for a refund of the mask price.
Please let me know if you would like any help looking at masks.

That sounds good to me - would that include the swivel joint to the pipe as well? Please let me have details.Originally posted by Kelly @ Intus View PostGood Afternoon,

I have another walk-in 'appointment' next Wednesday so if that fails I will take you up on the offer.

Good Morning,
Thank you for your email.
We can look at replacement parts for your existing mask, or complete new masks - https://www.cpap.co.uk/cpap-products/cpap-masks/
Lets see how your walk in appointment goes next week, and go from there.

I saw the Doctor today & he says the machine is doing what it should but I may have Central Apnea. More discussion with Doctor to follow.
Also gave me a new mask to try but it has no straps - how does this fix to my ResMed pipe?
