Tinnitus

The last few months I have started to get tinnitus, normally in my left ear, and im wondering if CPAP is causing this .
It always worse first thing in the morning so im thinking stopping using my machine for a few days to see what happens.
Is this worth a try

I get that as well, I stopped using my machine for a week, not that I wanted to, but it broke down Friday night so I was without it all weekend. Got replacement on Monday and it broke down in the first two minutes, so never got any use out of it, replacement Tuesday and it almost shock its self to bits so didn't use it, had it replaced Wednesday and it only ran a few minutes before the motor slowed down and made a grinding noise, so turned it off.
Thursday (feeling shattered) picked up another machine which finally worked.
All this time I still had the annoying ringing in my ears, morning and at night appeared to be the worst, but it was always there in the background.
It started off very light and almost didn't notice, but it crept on over the years using the machine, hearing is not as sharp as it used to be either, I think it is all part and parcel of using CPAP.
Keep using the machine, it is better to feel better in the morning and through the day than having the tiredness creep up on you.

Trying using ear plugs or cotton wool in your ears at least you will know if its noise related or something else that's going on

I had a early night and slept for 10 hours and my tinnitus is much worse today.
I will have to have a couple of days off from APAP to see if there is a link.

I did not use my machine last night and still have tinnitus this morning. Not good
