Need a spare reservoir for my S8 quickly

I cleaned my reservoir this morning (S8 Escape machine), and the locating tab on the base broke. I need another before tonight, and the local sleep clinic is closed. What is my best bet?

Hi Andy...eek.....On my machine if I remove the humidifier chamber ,I can attach the hose to the bit that goes into the humidifier with micropore tape (had to do that once, not ideal but it worked), don't know if thats feasible with yours. Not ideal but better than nothing. Worst time was when it packed up on me on hols, the strips that open your nostrils and sleeping upright in a sitting position got me through it but not the pleasantest experience. It's when the wee beast doesn't work that you really know how much it has improved things. Best of luck

run without humidifier

Simply detach the H5 humidifier unit from your base machine and attach your hose directly to the S8.

You can get the same effect by putting water at the intake which is at the back of the machine. Put a saucer of water and it will evapourate during the course of the night through the machine. Its like the olden days when you put water under the radiators to get rid of the dry heat they caused. As long as there is water close to the machine it should pick it up.
