Leak Readings

Does anyone know how to read the leak data on a machine. Does a complete seal read 0.0 L/s and a full leak (Not wearing mask) read 1.0 L/s ?

Mine is reading at a rate of 0.14 L/s is this good bad, how are we suppose to know, as usual according to my clinic Im not privet to that kind of advance data DOH!!!!!

I would guess that the ones that sound like loud farts or high pitched squeels are the ones to worry about.

Thanks Lorraine but I dont here any leaks all I know is what I see on my readings once I get up. There just seems to be no scale of the leak readings what is good what is bad and what is average. My AHI was 11 yesterday it was 3 ??? is it leaks or what and where is intus when you need them lol

How about you stop reading it and just go on how you feel?
Sometimes a little knowledge is a bad thing....... so I am told!
I am just a dumb blonde and know nothing of any use, but I am good at other things non technical LOL

Leak is more of a flow reading, mine shows 45l/min using a sleepweaver at 11hPa

So either mine is high or yours is low!

So if its not the flow/leak then how do you bring your AHI down? Mines up and down like a rollercoaster, the tech heads are talking in 0.1's and Im stook up between 3-15. better get back to surfing the net

well my leak reading today was 0.03 L/s which I gather is almost perfect but heres the crunch, why was my AHI 5.5 ? why am I still having issues surely with an APAP every event should be scrubbed by an increase in preasure?
