  • effective solutions for stuffy nose please

I have a really stuffy nose despite having a humidifier on the Remstar. I keep using Sudafed but know that it should really only be used for 7 days!?? Does anyone know of alternative nasal sprays to unblock that can be used safely long term please?
    thank you!

    Sinupulse is the answer

See the thread on the accessories list
If it's not about the actual CPAP machine or mask, it goes here. Discuss humidifiers, battery packs, tube sleeves, software and all other accessories.

    and the Sinupulse website:
ResMed S9 Autoset with humidifier and ClimateLine
ResMed Mirage Liberty and Quattro Air masks
    Sinupulse

      Stuffy

There are all kinds of nose sprays for short term use--but Sinupluse, a Neti Pot or just snuffing mild salt water up your nose may help. But if the problem is LONG TERM-- and not just a result for a cold and stuffy nose--then I suggest that you see a Dr who can look up your nose and see if there is some kind of blockage the needs removed. Good Luck, Berneta

For plain old congestion I picked a tip up from here, a couple of menthol crystals in your machine's humidifier, or a couple of drops of olbas oil on a cloth next to the air intake of the machine.

        Cheap and worth a try!
