  • Setting The Pressure

I'm using the Fisher & Paykel HC608 machine with built in humidifier.
Pressure setting is currently an 8.
I go for my 12 Month sleep review this week.
I'm in a relatively small town (23,000) in Tasmania with a part time sleep clinic.
If they decide to increase the pressure will I need to pay a practitioner to adjust it for me.
I've found plenty of info on doing your own pressure adjustment on Resmed & others but never for F & P.
It's not that I mind paying if that's what's required, but I brought the unit over the internet and don't want to have to send it back and be without it for a week.
Anyone know the secret to an F & P's heart ?

      Thanks Jackyk

That's the standard user manual that comes with the machine, which I have already, unfortunately it doesn't share the secret I'm after.

        Don't know, but .....

I have machines by two manufacturers other than yours. Both use power off and then power on whilst holding down two buttons in order to acces the Clinicians' Menu, which I guess is what you want.

        TF
        Respironics REMstar 'M' Series APAP.
Resmed Mirage 'Quattro FX' Full Face Mask with a 'Quattro' headgear.

            Thanks for all your advice.
I kept looking and found the information here at
            http://www.apneaboard.com/CPAP%20Adjustment.htm

(James Note: Use only in close co-operation with your care provider / sleep clinic etc. Changing settings should be based on facts and in liaison with a trained care provider.)
