My First CPAP Experiences

Hi Everyone,

I have just received a CPAP machine from my local NHS sleep-clinic. Over this bank holiday weekend, they have given me an auto-adjusting machine, so that the correct pressure settings can be discovered.

The machine is a REMstar Auto M series, model 511M (a Bi-PAP). When I go back to the hospital next week, they will analyse the logs from the machine and set me up with a permanent CPAP unit.

My new Cpap Machine.

Hi Jackyk, Many thanks for watching my videos on Utube and it is nice to put a face on someone. I go to the hospital tomorrow at 10.30 am to return my machine and an oxi meter machine which I will use tonight, They will put correct pressure in a machine for me to keep. I feel I am less tired and have more energy already, The reason I started this was because a few people on Utube had already started this and I found them all a tremendous help to me as I did not know what to expect. This forum is super too as I can get lots of advice and help too. I hope you are keeping well.

never thought to look on you-tube.
i googled cpap and came up with this forum, which has been a godsend to me.
hope you get sorted tommorow with yoor machine. im due a review in august again. have had my cpap now since march and am feeling great on it.
i might be brave and add a pic on here one day lol.
