Reading with your mask on

Every now and then, someone complains about not being able to read in bed with their mask on, preparatory to falling asleep. A possible solution may be these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/magnetic-readi...item3cb915a08f . They break in half at the bridge of your nose.

Due to been very tired after a nightshift I have worm my mask many times with my glasses still on and got away with it lol. Will have to stop reading in bed.

I to hated wearing a full face mask never been able to wear my glasses to read or watch TV in bed or my full face mask got in the way of watching TV has the width of the mask that covers your nose was to wide for me i ended up seeing the TV in double.These glasses are a great idea.

I no longer need these since i change my mask to a mirage liberty mask
link here http://www.resmed.com/us/products/mi...ml?nc=patients these to me are the best masks has you get both the pressure up the nose and mouth,but all your nose is not covered by the mask at all so you can freely wear glasses (and like me fall asleep many a times and not break them) and also you don't get the claustrophobic effect that i got and many others can get wile wearing a full face mask.

but there is the noise of the machine and mask, so you have to turn it up and annoy people...

then again, my travelling setup of sleep cube and Phillips Comfortgel nasal mask is so quiet I had to check I had turned it on last night!

Has anyone done a comparison of travel machines for noise of machine and volume of whooshingness.....have asked about this before but always looking for more info/suggestions..pet bugbear of mine......whats a bugbear anyway, and are the butterfly panda ones cute.

A 10ft hose can make it even more quiet. The SleepCube has a setting to recalibrate for 10ft hoses, allowing you to put the machine even further away. Hose Lift or other hose management contraption recommended, to lift the weight of the longer hose.

I can read just fine using the Sleepweaver but it would be more convenient if Intus could arrange Charles Dickens's Martin Chuzzlewitt complete with original drawings to be printed on the inside of my eyelids.

So what is wrong with using a pillow speaker?
I keep on about them but they are really really good!
If you lift your head off of the pillow you can't hear it so it doesn't interfere with your partner and, if you want, you can listen while your partner ....

Im the other way I have a quattro and sometimes forget to take mine off, I must have a unique face cos all the stuff about leaks dont comply here never had a prob, my advise is go a size bigger than what you are seems to work
