  • Mouthbreathing Child...

    Hmmm...

I have a 7 year old son and a 9 year old daughter. My son sleeps so quietly I sometimes worry that he isn't breathing.. I guess this is normal in your average healthy 7 year old. My daughter is a little more prone to weight and snores a lot. I always find her at night head back mouth wide open and not looking like she is sleeping well, yet she functions fine in the day without seeming over tired.

My hope is this is just a blocked nose, sinus related issue; I didn't realise OSA was a problem in children..!!

If she has a blocked sinus and drinks a lot of milk, try cutting on dairy. I've heard it's the main reason many people are clogged up.

Incidently I often use a basic spray to keep my nose clear when im a little blocked up, I must try that with her as well...poor love..lol

Yes, that's definitely a good idea. Outdoor exercise also helps me when I am clogged up.
