  • Give me DRUGS!!!!!

    Hi all,

Can pills help? Im new to my Cpap gear and finding it a bit hit and miss getting to sleep with the mask on, I get too tired not falling asleep or waking up while using it and take it off, I know im only starting out but it seems im getting even less sleep trying to get used to it, maybe better quality sleep but definitely less! Im pretty busy during the day and obviously want quick results, So can sleeping pills help? My Dr is usually dead against such things but now he knows I have OSA and RLS I think he may consider it again, or should I soldier on drug free?

    Cheers

    Steve

    Less is better

Any time a person can take less medication is better.I am taking low dosage methadone for charcots joints. This caused a 10 -15 %,decrease in in blood oxygen. This is what we are to avoid.Know your medications well.I am knew to this site, but have learned a lot just observing.

yes you can, its not been legalised as such, but my hospital prescribed them and my gp was happy for me to take them too.
          so i take 3 a night.

Bright Light Therapy such as with the Litebook Elite is also a great way to regulate sleep patterns and the chemicals involved like Melatonin.
