I'm not sure whether a blocked nose is totally the problem for apnoea but
have been using a product here in France called Eau de mer, translated water from the sea, and after 6 months my breathing has improved dramatically. In fact last night I didn't use the machine and to my knowledge (and my wife would have told me
) I didn't have an apnoea.
I have suffered apnoea for 20 years and terrible snoring. I recently saw a specialist here in France who stated my nose was a mess and I would need an operation. Don't think I'll be going back for the op which my own local doctor said was not that successful anyway.
This product is used for rhinitis, sinuitis and blocked nose. Also apparently good when you have a cold.
Have tried to find it on google for the UK but no success. If anyone is interested perhaps they could ask at their local pharmacy.
Do hope this info will help those who suffer with this apnoea problem.
