there is at last help with cpap cost

after many conversations with various cpap suppliers, i am proud to say that i have found a company whose staff are helpfull and like to meet with the cpap user. this is RESMED. they have arranged a finance deal for their machines on a 0% interest, over 10 months, this has enabled myself to get the life saving treatment that i require. they have been more than helpfull and even have offered to come down and discuss OSA and CPAP at one of my support group meetings when i have got it up and running. they have also offered to supply me with handouts and litriature for people.

I would like to thank the lady i spoke with SUE WATTS who works for them as she was most helpfull indeed.

why have you had to buy your own machine.... i got mine from my local hospital free NHS...

You got the lucky draw in the much debated, and hated, NHS "post code lottery". Some areas don't get certain therapies or equipment covered whilst others though, seemingly on a random basis. I guess Stuart missed the boat and is forced to look for a solution himself.

Stuart, as you are using an "S8", was this a part of the recent recall, and did Resmed replace it for you without any hassle?

Just curious as I am still on my S6 Lightweight (not so lightweight these days!!)
