  • Nasal Pillows dry mouth

    Hello there.
2 Questions for input. After trying a few mask I ended up using the nasal pillow. Finding it not to bad for the pressure soars and quite comfortable in comparison to the full face mask. What I am now finding is when waken up the next day my mouth is very dry like I have slept with it open all night. If that's the case how effective is the nasal pillow?. Also what would happen if I missed treatment for say a week or two. Would I be back to how I was before cpap?. I hope someone can answer these wee questions.

Hi Kev, It does sound like you are mouth breathing at night, could mean a full face mask. How stuffy is your nose, if it's blocked your mouth will open!

You could get away with a couple of nights with out a machine. But prolonged lack of CPAP will catch up with you when you least expect it. I guest you are thinking of going on holiday with out it?
    Regards and Good Luck, Barry
