  • Can I live alone with OSA and CPAP.

    Hi
I've just been diagnosed with osa and am currently in a one bedroomed flat living on my own. I have severe osa stopping breathin 50 times an hour. I am applying to the counc il for another flat should I ask for a two bed room for someone to move in with me. Do I need supervision.

No, so long as you are happy using the cpap. Unless you find it kinky to have a friend fit your mask for you.

      Hi Helen,

If OSA is your only health issue, you won't need day-to-day supervision.

When patients get treated with CPAP, their snoring, choking and gasping gets replaced with the silent hissing of the PAP device. This is often such an improvement, partners are quite happy jumping back in bed with them.
