New Diagnosis

Hi all,
I am new to the forum, however been a lurker knowing that I could possibly have OSA. This has now been confirmed as a Moderate OSA. I have a follow up appointment in a couple of weeks, the letter I have received with my results state that they are going to proceed with a cpap trial.
Apologies if this may have been covered but I am unsure what to do with driving now I have got a diagnosis, do I have to let the DVLA know and does that mean I can’t drive from now or do I have to speak to my consultant about it? I don’t generally drive at night nor do I get sleepy at the wheel as I rarely drive far or on my own. Once I inform the DVLA is that it for driving then? Very confused at the moment.
