I am a new member to the forums and looking for some information...
I went to my GP regarding snoring and ended up being referred for a "sleep study" which showed i was stopping breathing 42 times every hour over the 8 hours of data collected....
As a result of this, the consultant was referring me to the NHS for a CPAP machine. I originally went to a private hospital as it was felt that the shorter timescale would be more beneficial but they do not supply machines as it was an insurance company policy that covered the assessment.
I am now wondering what kind of timescale I could be looking at to hear from someone......
