Firstly Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all members and browsers.
I have had Sleep Apnea for over two years now, and on my second annual visit to the hospital in September had a good report, but for the last couple of years I have been having a few heart problems, heart rate slowing and getting breathless to name a couple, over the past few weeks I have been wearing a heart monitor day and night for three weeks and on getting the results Xmas eve they tell me that my heart keeps stopping for 3-4 seconds at a time during the night on a frequent basis, so tell me I need a Pacemaker fitting.
On asking the consultant about sleep apnea and the heart condition because basically my heart is shopping and I also stop breathing he said he is sure they are both tied in but not sure.
Does anyone else have this same problem, just wondering when I have my Pacemaker fitted in a couple of weeks will my sleep apnea vanish as well.
