CPAP forever ?

My understanding is this.
If it is caused by excess weight then losing weight may cause reversal of the symptoms and mean no more cpap, although it may not.
If it is due to malformed or restricted airways then surgery may help.
A MAD could also be used in some cases.
However, for most people it is going to be for life until something else comes along.
Bear in mind that if like me you are 40, have been a life long snorer when under, on and over weight and are otherwise healthy that with increasing life expetancies we should expect to have new developments in medical treatment over the next 50 to 70 years.
