Even my sister could do it in a day! (clenched jaw, white knuckles, lorries overtake her.)

Coffee at the Intus stand, 11am.

Hmmmm! Anyone know the Post Code for Tingewick Hall - an essential piece of information for GPS Navigators. Or the coordinates for the car park? The Royal Mail site seeems not to know the place.

I'm not good at reading maps whilst driving so I don't care if they are going to send me one with my ticket. I gotta have Post Codes!!

        TF

Seems Gatwick Airport has one Post Code for the entire area - which might well explain why Sat Navs are useless there.

Do I remember correctly that you have to send off for tickets in advance?
Or join a club or something?

            Hi TF,

Why postcodes? Why satnav? Why not a grubby map that has been knocking around in the foot-well for a while. Or print a Google-map of where you want to get to and blue-tack it onto the fascia.

If I recall, the Oxford NHS Blood Transfusion Service is close to Tingewick Hall, and their postcode is OX3 9BQ.

Hope this helps. See you there.

            Richard

It is on the outskirts of Oxford. You have to order tickets in advance and they do run out. It is £15 for members another tenner for non-members, but in past years it included a splendid lunch and a free car park pass.

Coffee at 11 isn't any good (James please correct any detail):

              10.00 Registration and coffee

10.45 Welcome, Technical Developments and Research, Driving and Sleep Apnoea, Q&A

              12.05 AGM

              12.30 What is Sleep Apnoea

              Lunch

              14.30 Chat shops

              Masks & machines

              Problems with partners and families

              Living with CPAP

              Tips and ideas, including travel

              15.45 Summing up, raffle draw.

              1600 Tea & coffee & biscuits

I've filled out the form to join and it is sitting in an envelope with my cheque awaiting a stamp which I will do later this morning.
I seriously hope I can get tickets and will be checking the website every day for more information.
I hope to see some of you there!

OX3 9BQ certainly puts us into the Hospital site so it'll do for now, thanks, Richard.

Any one know the actual Tingewick Hall Post code? it's a very big hospital site.

                  Tingewick Hall

                  If cycling from central Oxford:

1.Go past science area to entrance to the parks by Linacre college on South Parks Road.
2.Go through the parks over the bridges.
3.Turn right up Ferry Road, then left onto main road.
4.Turn right onto Jack Straw's lane just after the pedestrian crossing by the church.
5.Go up the hill, and turn left at the top.
                  6.Take 2nd exit at roundabout.
7.Follow road down to new buildings of JR.
8.Take 2nd exit at that roundabout.
9.Go up the hill past the emergency dept.
Either way, when you get to the JR campus, follow the road clockwise around the site to find the Hall, which is on the far side of the campus. A map is available here; Tingewick Hall is in the admin/academic block, on the right as you go in.

Taken from the Oxford Uni DanceSport Club site. Still no Post Code!

Aha!! OX3 9DU is the winner!

It's a long way from Southampton to Oxford on a bike, TF!

I used to stop at Oxford for coffee on the way to Leicester to watch a Tigers match - didn't bother on the way home. Don't think I'd look good in lycra anymore!
