    Hi everyone

Well, I'm 2 months now using my CPAP (Escape II with humidifier, Mirage Quattro and Quattro FX masks). The pressure is set at 12 and I'm using for at least 6 hours a night. There have been a few problems with minor leaks but I sorted that out with remzzz mask liners.
Problem is... I still feel tired. Not as much as I used to and the daytime headaches have gone but the fatigue is still there

The machine does not give any readings at all.

    Glyn.

Back to your clinic my friend - let them know you're not feeling the benefit yet!

      Hi Glyn,

After two months on CPAP, you should be seeing the benefits by now. Have you had a lung-function test done?

Maybe the settings on your CPAP need a tweak or there maybe something else that has not been diagnosed.

Back to the clinic, like Symmit suggests.

The clinic, but also your GP or allied health professionals.

But don't give up on the CPAP. It's doing wonders already, even if you can't feel them. But other things may be going on. Are you eating nutritionally beneficial foods that give you plenty of energy? Most of us could do with an improved diet. Could there be some thyroid function issue? Do you exercise enough? Most feel lethargic if they don't move in the fresh air enough.

But a follow-up sleep study is a good idea too, to verify the machine is at the right pressure.

So keep going with CPAP, talk to the people who issued it. But don't rely on it being the silver bullet. Look elsewhere in your lifestyle, check vitamin/mineral deficiencies etc. Energy doesn't just come from sleep.

Hi Everyone, Well time flys when we are having fun! I have found the need to get a new mask at last. My Bravo Nasal Pillows mask was well past its 6th month renewal date. It seems that the silicone piece that holds the pillows tends to stretch with time causing tiny leaks. So I picked up a new Bravo two days ago. I have had such good luck with the Bravo System that I felt no need to change my type of mask. I am scoring a 0,5 on the Apnea Scale so am doing and feeling great in spite of a few tiny leaks. I know I am very lucky to have found the perfect mask for me and I wish all the rest of you the same good luck. Good Wishs, xxBerneta
