    Hi
Anyone have any answers for puffy, sore, blurry eyes
Every morning I wake up to a nightmare in the mirror and it is an act of courage to face the public, especially at work where they are all young, energetic normal sleepers!!!!
It seems to be worse with my attempts at using the equipment but even without it my eyes are like slits
    please can anyone help!!!!

How long have you been on CPAP and what mask are you using?

I switched from a nasal mask to Swift FX pillows and (as well as vastly improving the whole experience) it helped clear up some redness around my eyes - not to mention the scabbing on the bridge of my nose. As a consultant to some very large companies this was getting quite embarrassing!

Move your sleep time so you go to bed an hour or two earlier and get up the same - I find it takess 30-45 minutes for the face to get back to normal!

Hi, me again!!! Still not liking this cpap.
Can any of you tell me. Why is it that even though the machine records a decent sleep and mask not leaking I wake up looking like I haven't slept for a year!!! Drawn face, eyes so sore and puffy they hurt. I may have to leave work because I cannot function in my workplace looking like this.
          Any suggestions anyone?

Take a holiday while you get used to the CPAP and mask.

              Eyes

Hi, You could try sleeping with a soft gel filled eye mask on that has been cooled in the frig. That might relieve the eye problem. It sounds to me like your mask is leaking into your eyes. Just a guess. Other than that it will take time to get used to the mask and maybe as TF suggested--you could take a short holiday to give you some time to get used the mask. Sorry you're having such trouble. xx Berneta
