I have just returned from a weekend away - on booking the room, i specified in writing i needed a socket beside/adjacent to the bed for a medical device. On arrival was allocated a room with no socket anyway near the bed. I complained and explained i needed a socket for a medical device and the best they could do for me was offer me an extension lead (which took three hours to deliver to hotel room and then had to be drapped from one side of the room to the other (health & safety issue) as this was the only socket available. This is the second time i have visited a hotel whereby they do not have sockets beside the bed to cater for my cpap machine. If a hotel provides a lead and someone e.g. maid/partner/myself etc fell over same who would be liable ???
Felt like a right nag, complaining over no socket for my "medical device" !!!
