Free bus pass

I have just read something on a site that suggests that people with OSA can claim a free bus pass on the grounds that if they applied for a driving licence they would be refused. Anyone know if this is true? Because if you are being treated with a cpap then you are allowed to drive.

I know u can apply for free bus pass if u are unable to drive weither that applies to not being able to drive short term i;m not sure, i;ve got a free bus pass cos i;m on higest rate of mobility DLA,
best thing u can do is give ur local authority/ council a ring and ask
