cholestrol and s.a.

My wife has just asked an interesting question - can a cpap unit actually lower cholestrol- since these machines appear to be the answer for an (almost) limitless list of complaints, it would be interesting to hear from other users. I have been using a resperonics for nine months now and its been great for all the usual ( well known) reasons. the more I think about it the more it sounds likely. Has anyone heard or read anything?
