  • help with my F&P 413 mask needed please!

I understand that these mask's are cumbersome but i have found that that if it to loose on my face it just blows right off.
I have to pull the straps very tight its very uncomfortable and my sleep is still disturbed. not as much and i do have a better sleep now.
Well it does not leak BUT it is still very hard to sleep is this normal please if anybody has any suggestions i would be very grateful

    Many thanks

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Overtightening is the number one reason for mask discomfort. You have to find a balance between the mask staying put and avoiding overtightening. This may take a good few nights to achieve. It's the mask cushion that creates the seal, not the straps. If after many tweaks it's still not right, the mask may just not be for you. It takes most cpap users two to three masks before they settle on their preferred mask. A gel ring mask might be worth trying for you.
