Can anyone recommend a mask that is suitable for sleeping on my side, I have to have a full face mask because I have difficulty breathing through my nose (having said that, I do wear nose strips which do help) I'd welcome any advice.

The Mirage quattro and the Probasics zzz mask work well for me. Both are full face masks as I dont get on with nasal masks, but I do sleep on my side an occasionally with my head buried in the pillow. No problems with either position once you have got everything adjusted properly. Our friend James sells them

He's right ...... and .......
Hi SteveM
I agree with Les - they are both suitable masks for side sleeping. But all masks are designed to facilitate sleeping in all positions - as far as I'm aware, anyway. I'll add a Mirage Ultra to Les' list because that's the one I use mainly.
The unfortunate truth of the situation is that it's a trial and error process to find the mask that is 'right' for you. You may be successful in persuading a couple or three types out of your Sleep Clinic nurses. If you haven't found the right one by the time they run out of options and/or patience, the only recourse is to buying your own. The only way I know of doing that is from photos and researching feedback from users, which is all totally subjective, of course.
If you are unlucky it can get expensive, especially if you don't give a mask a fair go. A month is held to constitute a fair go in some circles.
Good luck with your search
