  • Mask liners, puffy eye and general advice - new user

Hi, I have been using my sleep machine for a month. Not getting on with it too well but persevering. Didn’t help that the person who called me today for a review was very very rude and unhelpful. I tend to drool which makes my mask leek, the hospital sent me some liners which did the trick. I asked the guy on the phone today if they could send me some and he said I’ll have to buy them myself online. They are £30 for a pack of 30 I can’t afford that every month.
I also have a puffy eye which he was not concerned with, it doesn’t just look bad but affects my vision too. I think it’s due to mask leak even though I have adjusted the mask it still managed to leak. The guy on the phone suggested folding my pillow in half? It’s uncomfortable as it wearing the mask let alone folding my pillow and then getting back ache and neck ache.
I’m not really having a good time. All advice appreciated.

Hi. Need a new eye mask a# my home made rice baggy is getting worn out and not having to rely on having a microwave appeals. Anyone tried the electric eye masks? F3d up with wasting money on priducts that don’t work.

I am the same as you, new user, the hospital is absolutely useless no help whatsoever, they need someone who has actually used the machine and encountered the many problems that gome with using it. I now have a humidifier which again I had little to no help at all. I am still getting dry mouths as my tongue and throat were like dried concrete. I don't think I am going to be able to continue, the cpap was told as the answer to my snoring and sleep apnoea, I could have hugged them, but sadly it's not, with little to no help at all.
