Hi there, I am new to CPAP and this Forum and I was looking for advice on which type of mask would be recommended for a new cpap user. Also any recommendations on which brand of cpap machine to buy would be appreciated.

Thank you for your post.
The type of mask you need depends upon how you breathe - if you breathe through your nose only, then you can use a nasal mask. If you breathe through your nose and your mouth (ie if you snore) then you need a full face mask.
All of the auto CPAP machines work the same way, it is just the feature that are different.
