New mask problems

Hi all. I've been. On auto cpap for a number of years. Always had a new Philips mask every year with no issues.
This year , it was replaced with a far inferior Resmed mask. Mask fit is appalling no matter what i do.. was also told it will need replacing every 5 months coz the velcro fails.
Is anyone else with sane issue. I'm in West Wales.

Can I kindly ask what Resmed mask do you have?

The headgear and cushion for the CPAP masks should be replaced every 3-6 months or if they show any wear or tear.

If your headgear has velcro on then I would suggest not getting this wet when you clean your headgear and this should keep it's stickiness a bit longer.
